Below is a photo of a basic concrete vault featuring a concrete base and a one-piece top lid. This sealed, protective unit meets requirements at cemeteries where burial vaults are a bylaw requirement. Not shown in the picture is the gold painted lid that is supplied.  The casket is lowered into the vault with the use of a lowering device and the grave is dressed with artificial grass.
